Description

Sparkling Rose made just like a pink Prosecco, but with 2 whole years on the lees instead of just a few weeks or months. So you get all the freshness and delightful aromas of a Charmat method wine but with a whole host of complexity too.

Hand-harvested in 20 kg crates and crafted with just 2.2 g/L of residual sugar, this sparkling wine is part of a limited production of 5,000 bottles. Lazar Winery, a pioneer in Macedonia’s sparkling wine scene, introduced Charmat-method bubbles to the local market in 2017—and hasn’t looked back since. Using carefully selected Chardonnay (and Pinot Noir for the rosés), their Pearl range sits firmly in the brut style, known for its vibrant fruit, crisp freshness, and lively mousse. A standout example of how tradition and innovation are bubbling up in the Balkans.

Tasting notes

The nose bursts with strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, watermelon, ripe citrus, and floral notes. On the palate, it's dry and refreshing, with a rich mousse, red berry flavours, medium acidity, and a smooth, balanced body.

Hidden away in North Macedonia, a country steeped in rich winemaking history, Lazar Allure Cuvess are produced from specially selected vineyards from the village of Kurija in the Tikvesh wine region, one mile from the winery. These attractive wines have more structure of primary and secondary aromas, a dose of minerality, medium acidity, full body, well integrated alcohol.
