Pinot Noir from the roof of the world.
Such a generous Pinot, jumping out of the glass demanding to be enjoyed - and we are happy to oblige! With all those cherry and bramble flavours we don't need to be told twice.
Grown on one of South Africa’s highest vineyards, this Pinot Noir is a striking example of cool-climate finesse in an unexpected place. The rugged, remote slopes of the Cederberg deliver purity, freshness, and a distinct sense of place, while the hands-off winemaking lets the altitude and terroir do the talking. A quietly confident wine with a wild edge.
This Pinot Noir exhibits an abundance of red fruit aromas, including cherries and raspberries, complemented by an earthy undertone and a hint of oak. On the palate, it offers a lingering taste of fruit with a smooth, silky finish.
Snow capped mountains in South Africa? You better believe it! High up in the Cederberg Mountain ranges, about 250km north of Cape Town, this relatively new and small region produces some truly stunning wines.
Charl Du Toit has created something really special here, the cool mountain air and the rocky soils helps this unique terroir to produce some of South Africas most awarded wines.
Driehoek Guest Farm is a private, family-run farm; hidden within the great Cederberg Wilderness Area. A family treasure that dates back to the early 1800s.
