About the wine

Organic, biodynamic, and with a profound respect for sustainability, this is a really special bottle that never fails to impress. This really is a rarity! Only 25 cases produced of this old vine, 100% Cabernet Franc - elegance in a bottle.

Tasting notes

The wine opens with an expressive nose of fresh red berries, delicate floral notes, and a touch of subtle spice. On the palate, it’s vibrant and juicy, with silky tannins and lively acidity that carry through to a clean, elegant finish.

About the winemaker

Stéphane Derenoncourt and Romain Bocchio are two of the estate's key players, having joined the team in 2007. Both agree that it’s attention to the finer details that can make or break a wine. This philosophy leads them to produce wines that are inherently linked to their region of origin and surrounding environment. They appraised the soil and plant matter, identified the right growing methods, and brought the best out of each and every vine. Their work has seen Château Edmus rise triumphant, like a phoenix from the ashes.

And not just a beautiful wine but a beautiful place - Saint Emilion was the first vineyard area to make the UNESCO world heritage list!
