This is a stellar representation of this historic Left Bank estate, crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The 2010 vintage was exceptional in Bordeaux, yielding wines with great structure, depth, and aging potential.

The nose is intense and layered, offering aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and ripe plum, intertwined with cedar, tobacco, graphite, and a touch of violet. On the palate, firm yet refined tannins provide structure, while vibrant acidity enhances the wine’s freshness and balance. Flavors of dark fruits, mocha, spice, and earthy undertones lead to a long, elegant finish with remarkable persistence.

Renowned for its power, precision, and longevity, Château Chasse-Spleen is a benchmark producer in Moulis-en-Médoc, often rivaling the quality of classified growths. With over a decade of aging, the 2010 vintage is now reaching an excellent drinking window but will continue to evolve beautifully for years to come. A true Left Bank classic.
