On the nose, this wine opens with layers of cassis, blackberries, wild strawberries, and redcurrants, alongside hints of graphite, rose, violet, and subtle oak influences like coconut butter and vanilla. The stunning Chateau Grangey dates back to 1756 on a beautiful hillside in St Emilion. With only 6ha of vineyards these small, but mighty, producers make some truly spectacular Merlot!

The Araoz family have been in charge since 1954 and soon got their Environmentally friendly agriculture certificate and are in process of obtaining their organic farming certificate.
