Made by ladybirds. Well, they lend a hand. Or six. Peachy, oral & organic.
This is a Roussanne dominant blend, with a little Grenache Blanc, and we think this is an underrated grape variety, although often used in white Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Handpicked from 15-year-old vines grown on pebbly, iron-rich, limestone soils, which concentrates and emphasizes the fruit aromas in this unoaked wine. Good work, ladybirds.
As the ladybird covered labels suggest, the winery is named after the little spotted red bugs that merrily eat the less welcome bugs in this organic certified vineyard. There has been a trend for producing organic wines in recent years, but the Fabre family have always done this, it is in their blood.
[shortstart]Intense peach, with silky white floral notes. Just peachy![shortend]
