The Pinot Noir Imperiale represents a grape selection from dense plantings of Burgundian clones. The density and complexity of the wine is evident in the rich, bright color with violet reflections. The wine smells wonderfully of eucalyptus, sour cherries, finely roasted coffee and thyme. On the palate it is very juicy and expansive, with noble extract sweetness, silky tannins and fine roasted aromas that linger for minutes. Seductive!
