Aurora, raised in Islington by Italian immigrant parents, met Rick in 1984 in the oil business. They launched a successful petroleum company in London in 1993, focusing on eco-friendly fuels. After selling their business, they moved to Santa Barbara in 2007. In 2010, they bought 135 acres in the Santa Ynez Valley and soon expanded their vineyard to 16.6 acres of grapes and 5 acres of olives, inspired by their love for European wines and food.
