White Rhone is overlooked by the mainstream market but when done right, it delivers such fantastic juice and great value.
A blend of grapes, predominantly viognier, it has plenty of zesty, fruit with extended skin contact but there’s this bright, mineral undercurrent and so much freshness. Like a cool stream on a hot summer’s day.
Excellent wine. Organic production by 4th generation Domaine des Gravennes. Fab with pork or fish.
