Domaine Allimant-Laugner Riesling Sélection de Grains Nobles, 2015, Alsace, France
£55.05 (inc VAT)
A rare find that is worth the wait. The slogan ‘never keep things bottled up’ could not be more relevant.
This exceptional wine has seductive, flowery fruitiness and seems to over-ripen in your mouth. It’s only produced once a decade, so treasure every drop. Alternatively, you could keep it tucked away for a special occasion long in the future.
Nicolas Laugner's winery is a real family winery. Grandma Allimant married Grandpa Laugner giving the winery its name, but in fact the family has 12 generations of winemakers. They farm 12 hectares in Orschwiller, Northern Alsace, from which they make an incredible 15 different wines."
