Pint-sized Malbec that romps around your mouth leaving a trail of cherries, strawberries, & raspberries

About the winemaker

Practically the sprog of Château Les Croisille that gets its personality from 2 of Germain’s parcels situated in Luzech and Fages. Fashioned from sandy soils and limestone, this is some of the lushest fruit in Cahors. This pint-sized Malbec goes through carbonic maceration, where its grapes explode in a tank and set off dazzling fireworks of bright fruit flavours that jump around quicker than Fruit Ninja Level 30 in your wine glass. Scoot along, Mendoza, Le Croizillon is the new modern Malbec in town!

Tasting notes

The 2022 Le Croizillon offers a vibrant ruby color with aromas of ripe berries and subtle herbal notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with soft tannins, delivering flavors of juicy blackberries and a hint of pepper, culminating in a refreshing finish.

About the winemaker

Château le Croisille was born out of a family's last endeavour to turn passion into a career. Armed with a passion for the land, Bernard and Cecile Fages Croisille set up shop in Luzech in 1979. Starting as grape growers, Bernard and Cecile did not come from a winemaking background, and their neighbour taught them how to make wine. 10 years later, Bernard and Cecille made their first wine, and with the help of the family, they renovated the old cellar.
