A crisp, joyful Bordeaux, breaking tradition with summer vibes, crafted by young winemakers, and certified organic with eco-friendly packaging.
About the wine
Celebration breaks with Bordeaux tradition in all the right ways—light, fresh, and made for summer. Created by the rebellious minds of the Bordeaux Pirate collective, in collaboration with Julie Yagound and Antoine Debiastre of Domaine des 4 Vents, this joyful red is aged in cement eggs at Château Edmus by Laurent David, with vineyard selection guided by Derenoncourt Consultants. Certified organic and bottled in France’s first deposit-return glass in Saint-Émilion—cutting CO₂ emissions by 77%—it’s as forward-thinking as it is fun. The Art Deco-inspired label by ByCha captures the spirit: a breezy Parisian terrace, optimism in a glass, and a nod to Château Edmus’ core values—sharing, joy, and a touch of rule-breaking charm.
Tasting notes
The nose is rich with ripe plum, blackberries, cherries, and vibrant red fruits. On the palate, it’s smooth and well-rounded, with a medium body, fruit-forward character, low acidity, and a gentle earthy undertone adding depth and balance.
About the winemaker
Stéphane Derenoncourt and Romain Bocchio are two of the estate's key players, having joined the team in 2007. Both agree that it’s attention to the finer details that can make or break a wine. This philosophy leads them to produce wines that are inherently linked to their region of origin and surrounding environment. They appraised the soil and plant matter, identified the right growing methods, and brought the best out of each and every vine. Their work has seen Château Edmus rise triumphant, like a phoenix from the ashes.
And not just a beautiful wine but a beautiful place - Saint Emilion was the first vineyard area to make the UNESCO world heritage list!
