A supple, vibrant Mercurey Rouge that brings Pinot Noir’s finesse into a beautifully expressive frame.
About the Wine
‘Roc Blanc’ Rouge comes from limestone-rich Mercurey parcels that naturally deliver freshness, fine aromatics and silky texture. Château de Garnerot works organically with hand harvesting, gentle extraction and careful ageing to preserve purity and detail. The 2023 vintage shows Mercurey at its most charming: bright fruit, supple movement and a quietly confident depth.
Tasting Notes
Lifted red-cherry and raspberry aromas with subtle notes of rose petal, soft spice and a hint of forest floor. The palate is smooth and lively, shaped by fresh red fruit, gentle earthiness and a fine, elegant finish. A graceful, lightly floral expression of Mercurey Pinot Noir.
Food Pairing Suggestions
A natural companion to roast chicken, duck breast, pork tenderloin, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon, or soft and semi-firm cheeses. Also excellent with herb-led vegetarian plates and simple French bistro classics.
