A round, fruity spumante for any time of the day, this goes with anything but is equally delicious on its own. Sustainable, effortlessly cool and won't break the bank. Rebuli recommend it with "rice and peas"which in this context probably means the Italian risotto con piselli, although the Anglo-Caribbean staple would be just as cool. Rice & pea and spumante.
A relatively new winery, the Rebuli's have been making sparkling wine since the 1980s. Their recent start means their tech is absolutely on point, and is mixed with a wealth of knowledge and respect for their environment & these guys are dedicated to sustainability, from recycled bottles to solar power and hand harvesting. Mixing family and business is oft said to be a tricky prospect, but Angelo and his sons Mauro, Paolo and Gianni make it looks easy.
