In the late 2000s, word started getting around about a garagiste in Argentina whose wines were making waves despite there being hardly any bottles to speak of. That winemaker was Tomás Stahringer. Pet Nat Charmat has a very particular texture; it is light but at the same time unctuous. On the palate, it offers a delightful combination of ripe strawberries, juicy cherries, and succulent peaches, accented by refreshing notes of melon. The fine bubbles dance gracefully across the tongue, while the creamy mouthfeel adds an extra layer of indulgence. The absence of added sugar allows the natural sweetness of the grapes to shine, resulting in a beautifully balanced and refreshing sparkling wine with a clean, crisp finish.
