Armujan is a small 1.8 hectare south west facing plot on loamy soil with minimum 55 year old vines. The grapes are hand harvested and matured in new and one year old fine grained French barriques for 18 months and bottled without fining or filtration.
Loredana Addari and Nicola Argamante decided they'd enough of their jobs in the city, so they packed it all in, studied winemaking and bought a tiny vineyard in Monforte d'Alba. They upgraded the traditional estate into an eco-friendly haven by adopting lighter bottles, handpicking, solar panels and natural waste water purification, and by massively reducing the use of chemical treatments and sulphur.
