About the wine

From the gorgeous fruity profile, to the savoury and spicy finish, it's easy to see why this wine knocks it out the park everywhere it goes.

Tasting notes

On the nose, this Syrah is expressive and layered, with bold aromas of dark fruit, sweet spice, fragrant coffee, and hints of dark chocolate. The palate is rich and full-bodied, delivering concentrated flavors with a smooth texture. Well-integrated tannins support notes of spice and earth, balanced by a refined freshness and a long, structured finish. The high-altitude Cederberg origin adds elegance and lift, enhancing the wine’s overall depth and character.

About the winemaker

Snow capped mountains in South Africa? You better believe it! High up in the Cederberg Mountain ranges, about 250km north of Cape Town, this relatively new and small region produces some truly stunning wines.

Charl Du Toit has created something really special here, the cool mountain air and the rocky soils helps this unique terroir to produce some of South Africas most awarded wines.

Driehoek Guest Farm is a private, family-run farm; hidden within the great Cederberg Wilderness Area. A family treasure that dates back to the early 1800s.
