Fruit jab, tannin hook, structured uppercut. This terroir blend is a knockout.

A “terroir blend” combining grapes from four vineyards, like all the best Malbecs this is a one-two punch. BAM: you hit ‘em with the fruit on the palate, sweet and spicy and straight-up tasty. Then while they’re reeling, BOP: you hook ‘em with the ripe tannins and structured finish. A beautiful colour, deep red with violet tones. A real knockout.

The Gargantini family arrived in Argentina from Switzerland at the end of the 19th century. Don Bautista Gargantini ran a successful wine business, but over time his fortunes waned. His three wineries switched hands a few times and eventually were abandoned in the 70s. In 1987, Bautistaå«s granddaughter, Silvia Gargantini, bought one of the wineries to take back the family business and honour his work. Silvia and her husband Alejandro Genoud restored the building while preserving the original architecture. Their work, and the work of their families, represent the message they intended to pass on to new generations: love for their land and its fruits.
