Like strimming the garden on a crisp morning while eating a fruit salad. The fruit for this wine was picked in three stages from high vineyards to get that perfect balance of fruit and acidity. It spends 3 days in a coldroom to heighten the fruit flavours and then is processed in only stainless steel to keep it clean and fresh.
Established in 1912, Bartinney has been in the Jordaan family since 1953. Now Michael and Rose Jordaan tend to the 28-hectare farm, with a vision to create excellent wines and reawaken the charm of the historic land. And charming is right: perched on the dramatic slopes of Botmaskop alongside the Helshoogte Pass, overlooking the picturesque Banhoek Valley in Stellenbosch.
