Massimo Rattalino Roero DOCG Arneis, Piedmont, Italy
Sold Out (inc VAT)
Arneis means rascal: grab this fruity miscreant by the collar.
You won't need a Marauder's Map to get up to some mischief with our newest rascal, Arneis from Massimo Rattalino. We're befuddled at how this fleshy and rambunctious grape nearly disappeared from the lofty hills of Roero. Arneis in the Piemontese dialect means "little rascal", but we love this wine way too much to let this one get away. Clean and fruitilicious, we are advocating that this wine should count as one of our five a day.
Land is land. Wine is wine. Massimos wines argue otherwise. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Alba, lies Massimo Rattalinos small vineyard in the recognised UNESCO World Heritage site, Barbaresco. Prudent and passionate for this legendary land, Massimo looks after his vineyards with the utmost care, and is guided by a respect for tradition.
