First Drop Mother's Ruin Cabernet Sauvignon, McLaren Vale, Australia
Sold Out (inc VAT)
Made by an Essex boy and a native Australian in a shed in the Willunga foothills.
Mother’s Ruin is a Humble Grape wine to the very core. It’s made by two friends, one Essex boy and one native South Australian, in a couple of sheds on the old Penfold’s site in the North Barossa. They call it an easy drinking “ode to luncheon Claret”, but it is so much more than that. Enormous complexity with that fruity antipodean charm we all fell in love with and wonderful honesty... the lads say this is perfect when “you need a bottle you can smash through".
