Domaine Garnier & Fils Chablis, 2017, Burgundy, France
£28.75 (inc VAT)
Made next to the Grand Crus by the best bespectacled brothers since The Proclaimers.
Two brothers (Xavier and Jerôme) united by their love of wine (obviously), their respect for the traditions and identity of their terroirs and a desire to flex a little within their appellation. Based in the village of Ligny-le-Ch̢âtel on the slopes of the Serein Valley in Chablis, the Domaine is focused on organic principles: no herbicides or insecticides in the vineyard, native yeast for fermentation. Just grapes and class and love, basically.
