400+ years of practice, no wonder it tastes so good.
Created to be the very best brut non-vintage in Champagne, and boy is that a worthwhile aim. This is rich and flavoursome, while also being supremely elegant and refined, as you'd expect form Champagne's oldest House. Forget saving for a special occasion, this is a special occasion.
Pierre Gosset founded the business in 1584 and his wines were the favourite tipple of France's kings and queens for centuries. Today Gosset is in the safekeeping of the Cointreau family, who play an active part in the running of this magnificent Champagne estate. Only Premier and Grand Cru grapes are ever used in the wine, and, unusually for this region, no malolactic fermentation is permitted. The acidity simply mellows as the wine ages on it lees in bottle.
